Greyhound Canada Introduces Three Ways to Save on Spring Travel
BURLINGTON, Ontario, March 16 /CNW/ -- Dig deep in your pockets no
longer; Greyhound Canada now is offering three discounted fare options for
customers looking to visit friends and family. These new fare specials are
just in time for March break and beyond. Riders can choose from a variety of
discounted fares, which include expanded friends and family rates, city pair
specials and deeply discounted advance purchase fares.
"We are constantly looking for ways to save our customers money during
these tough economic times and to keep Canadians on the road for their spring
travel needs," said Stuart Kendrick, senior vice president, Greyhound Canada.
"With the introduction of these multiple discount options, customers can take
their March break and Easter trips with money to spare for other essential
needs."
The following now are available online and in terminals for a limited
time:
-- 14-and 7-Day Advance Purchase Fare: 14-day advance purchase fares are
up to 45 percent off and 7-day advance purchase fares are up to 30
percent off the adult standard walk-up fare.
-- Friends and Family Discount: Up to three companions can each travel at
50 percent off with the purchase of one adult standard walk-up fare. A
three-day advance purchase is required. Offer is good for one-way and
round-trip tickets.
-- City Pair Specials: Fares are priced at up to a 40-percent discount
off
the adult standard walk-up fare. Listed below are some of the city
