| Project: | Water Pollution Control Plant Upgrade to Secondary Treatment. The work includes construction and installation of: commissioning of new inlet sewer; three new aeration tanks, fine bubble aeration blowers and diffuser grids; secondary settling tanks and sludge collectors; associated scum collection and sludge pumping; associated channels, tunnels and underground walkways to access the tanks; new secondary treatment building to house a new raw sewage pumping station, aeration blowers, rotary drum thickeners and dewatering equipment; new intermediate pumping station; upgrades to the digesters including a new mixing system, gas collection system, and sludge pumping; new screening and grit collection and pumping equipment; modifications to the existing administration building; various electrical upgrades to the existing plant; modifications to the existing piping and installation of associated new piping, and all associated electrical, instrumentation and mechanical works necessary for a fully operating system. |
