OCOT calls for industry feedback

TORONTO

The Ontario College of Trades (OCOT) is calling for comments on proposed board regulations.

The college is inviting public comments on a proposed board regulation to define professional misconduct for OCOT members and set out what a member is and is not allowed to do.

The public is also invited to provide comments on proposed board regulations related to: public notice required for meetings and hearings that are open to the public; naming geographic areas for the Appointments Council to take into consideration when carrying out its appointment duties; and governing the establishment of apprenticeship programs.

The comment deadline is Dec. 3, 2012.

OCOT is expected to begin accepting members on April 8, 2013.
