Paradise, Newfoundland gets $5 million in provincial infrastructure funding

The Newfoundland and Labrador department of Municipal Affairs recently announced that the province will invest more than $5 million towards infrastructure in the Town of Paradise, southwest of St. John's.

"Funding will support upgrades to Karwood Drive, replacement of a regional waterline and upgrading and widening of Topsail Road," the province stated in a press release.

The province will provide 70 per cent of the total cost under the 2012-14 Multi-Year Capital Works Program. The total investment, including the town's share, is about $7.6 million.
