VIDEO: Central banks worldwide try to stimulate economy

Central bankers around the world are trying to get the economy going by keeping interest rates low, says Alex Carrick, chief economist of CanaData.

Carrick notes key interest rates have been lowered by the European Central Bank, as well as in Israel, Australia and China.

Meanwhile, the U.S. federal reserve is keeping its rate near zero.
