Two Bridge replacements slated for Dryden, Ontario
DRYDEN, ONT.
Two bridges will be replaced near Dryden, Ont., creating about 40 jobs, announced the provincial government.
Both bridges span Beaver Creek — one on Highway 17 and the other on Highway 594.The new bridges will reduce maintenance demands, improve driving conditions and make the roads safer for families and businesses.
L H North Ltd. was awarded the contract and will begin work on the Highway 594 Beaver Creek Bridge in July, with completion later this year. Work on the Highway 17 Beaver Creek Bridge will begin in spring 2013, with completion later that year.
Investing in these northern bridges is part of the Liberal government’s Growth Plan for Northern Ontario.
