Stuart Olson Dominion Construction looking for new president

The Churchill Corp. (TSX:CUQ) of Calgary announced Friday that Don Pearson, President and Chief Operating Officer of Stuart Olson Dominion Construction Ltd., will retire at the end of the year.

Stuart Olson Dominion is Churchill’s largest operating company. It constructs commercial, institutional and industrial buildings.

"A transition plan is underway to consider and evaluate internal and external candidates to replace Mr. Pearson," the firm stated in a press release. "Mr. Pearson remains committed to the success of Stuart Olson Dominion and its many customers and their active and potential construction projects. Mr. Pearson is providing assistance in the process to determine his successor and continues to work as a member of the Office of the CEO to execute on initiatives to deliver greater shareholder value."

Pearson joined Stuart Olson in 1985 and has been president since February, 2009. The following year he became president and COO of Stuart Olson Dominion when Stuart Olson combined with Dominion Construction.
