Stantec recognized as leader in carbon-emissions reporting

TORONTO

Stantec has been named one of Canada’s top companies for monitoring and reporting its carbon emissions. The North American firm was selected as a 2010 carbon disclosure leader at an event hosted by the Conference Board of Canada in Toronto.

Fifteen of Canada’s top 200 publicly traded companies were recognized for their comprehensive responses and exceptional disclosure practices related to carbon emissions and climate-change management strategies.

The companies were cited as among Canada’s most involved and most transparent in their initiatives to address climate change.
