Project progress
Work continues on Habitat for Humanity building in Toronto

Work is nearly done on the new Habitat for Humanity building on Bermondsey Rd. in Toronto. Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. is the general contractor for the project, which is targeting LEED Silver certification.
Scheduled for completion in November, the project will include warehouse/office space and retail and future tenant space.
Architect for the project is Ware-Malcomb; owner is Habitat for Humanity Toronto. Consultants: Hannigan Engineering Ltd. (structural); Able Engineering Inc. (mechanical); and Metric Electric Inc. Subcontractors: Blu-Mar Excavating & Grading Ltd.; Maiella Contracting Ltd.(site services); Dufferin Concrete; Silverline Group Inc. (concrete forming); Belmont Concrete Finishing Co. Ltd.; Albrecht Bros. Reinforcing Steel Ltd.; Spencer Steel Ltd.; Pre-Con Inc. (architectural precast); Prestressed Systems Inc.
