Project progress

Construction continues on Vancouver Island University’s new Cowichan campus

The new Cowichan campus for Vancouver Island University is taking shape in Duncan, B.C. The structure will replace a leased facility. The construction manager is Yellowridge Construction Ltd. and the architect is Garyali Architect Inc.

Consultants on the 4,914 square meter project include Arlington Group Planning + Architects, Sharp & Diamond Landscape Architects and Lewkowich Geotechnical Engineering Ltd. The development is aiming for LEED Gold certification and received funding from the federal stimulus package.
