Project progress
Construction continues on 700 West 8th condominiums in Vancouver

An ironworker carries rebar at 700 West 8th, a new 17-storey condominium project in Vancouver. The owner and construction manager for the 150,000-square-foot residential and commercial development is Westbank Projects Corp.
The architect is Henriquez Partners Architects. Consultants on the project include Glotman Simpson Consulting Engineers (structural), Sterling Cooper & Associates Ltd. (mechanical) and Nemetz (S/A) & Associates Ltd. (electrical). Construction began in May and is scheduled for completion by March 2012.
