Feasibility study on track for Mistassini River railway bridge in Quebec
DOLBEAU-MISTASSINI, Que.
The federal government has awarded a $180,000 grant to the Maria-Chapdelaine Regional County Municipality for a feasibility study on the construction of a new railway bridge linking the eastern and western banks of the Mistassini River.
The bridge construction project is part of a wider plan to further the development of the RCM’s infrastructure while supporting local efforts to attract an aluminum smelter to Dolbeau-Mistassini.
