Raboud succeeds Charette as Bird Construction chief executive
TORONTO
Paul Raboud has been named chief executive officer of Bird Construction Company Ltd. following the retirement of Paul Charette as CEO.
Charette, however, will continue in his capacity as chair of the board of trustees of Bird Construction Income Fund and chair of the board of directors of Bird Construction.
“Paul has led Bird through 20 years of continuous profitability and growth and has set an example of integrity that has helped to shape the company,” said Urban Joseph, director and chair of the personnel committee.
Charette currently is serving as chair of the Canadian Construction Association.
Raboud has been with the company for 24 years in a variety of operational and executive positions, most recently as president and chief operating officer.
In addition to becoming CEO and continuing to serve as president, Raboud has been appointed to the board of trustees of Bird Construction Income Fund and the board of directors of Bird Construction.
Bird Construction is one of Canada’s leading general contractors with offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Toronto, Saint John, Seattle, Vancouver and Winnipeg.
The company services the industrial, commercial and institutional market as well as the heavy civil market.
