Construction moves along for the Trillium Health Centre expansion at 100 The Queensway West in Mississauga, Ont. General contractor EllisDon Corp. began the six-storey expansion of the West Wing in February 2007 and completion has been scheduled for March 2009. The project was designed by Parkin Architect Ltd./Perkins Eastman Black Architects in a joint venture. Consultants are: Halcrow Yolles (structural); MMM Group (mechanical); Crossey Engineering Ltd. (electrical). Subcontractors include: Harmony Excavators; HC Matcon Inc. (shoring/caissons); Res 2000 Structures Inc. (formwork); Harris Rebar; Mometal Ontario Inc. (structural steel); James Dick Construction Ltd. (concrete supply); Village Masonry; Sayers & Associates (mechanical); Guild Electric Ltd.; Vipond Inc. (fire protection); Zimmcor (windows); Bothwell-Accurate Co. Ltd. (roofing); ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ltd.; and London Paving.
