Condo Construction

Work progresses for the High Park condominium project at 70 High Park Ave. in Toronto.

The Daniels Corp. began the work July 2003 and completion is scheduled for December. The project required some demolition and the existing church on site will be restored to become the lobby for the 20-storey, 169-unit building. There will also be two levels of underground parking.

Owner is A Daniels/Nexxt Development and the architect is Graziani + Corazza Architects Inc.

Consultants are: C & V Engineering Ltd. (structural); M.V. Shore Associates (1993) Ltd. (mechanical/electrical); and Terraplan Landscape Architects.

Subtrades include:Teperman Demolition Group; Coreydale Contracting Co. (excavation); Bermingham Construction Ltd. (shoring/caissons); Edvac Contracting Ltd. (formwork); C & T Reinforcing Steel Co. (1987) Ltd. (rebar supply); Lido Wall Systems (EIFS); Innocon Inc. (concrete supply); Speedy Electrical Contractors Ltd. and Kone Inc. (elevators).
