Exterior cladding work is underway at the new Durham Consolidated Courthouse in Oshawa, Ontario.
PCL Constructors begins cover-up of Durham Consolidated Courthouse project
PCL Constructors Canada Inc. began the five-storey, design-build Durham Consolidated Courthouse project in May 2007. Completion has been scheduled for late 2009.
Designed by WZMH Architects, the facility will include 33 courtrooms, three motion rooms and conference/settlement rooms.
Consultants are Halsall Associates Ltd. and Johnson Controls LP.
Subtrades include Ron Robinson (excavating); Deep Foundations Contractors Inc. (shoring/caissons); Avenue (formwork); Salit Steel Ltd. (rebar supply); Res Precast Inc. and Benson Steel Ltd. (structural steel).
Also on the list of subtrades are CBM (concrete supply); GA Masonry; Sayers & Associates (mechanical); Plan Group (electrical); Verval Ltee. (curtainwall) and Otis Canada (elevators).
