Sharp-shooters from Southwest Contracting take on Calgary project
SCOTT MACCARA
Foreman Ross Montgomery and co-worker Doug Yurisich of Southwest Contracting Ltd. aim shotcrete over an excavated face to form a temporary shotcrete-shored wall at the Montgomery Place project in northwest Calgary.
Once the shotcrete cures at the Montgomery Place project, the anchors will be stressed with a hollow ram jack and about 12 tons of force applied to the shotcrete face.
