Glass work continues at the expansion of The Art Gallery of Ontario on Dundas Street West in Toronto. Project manager EllisDon Corp. began the three-storey project in April 2005 and completion is expected late 2008. The project was designed by Gehry International Architects Inc. Consultants are: Halcrow Yolles (structural); HH Angus & Associates Ltd. (mechanical); and Mulvey & Banani International Inc. (electrical). Subtrades include: Geo-Foundation Contractors; Structform International (formwork); Res Precast Inc.; Benson Steel Ltd.; Clifford Masonry Restoration; Adelt Mechanical Works Ltd.; Geo A. Kelson Co. Ltd. (HVAC); OZZ Corp. (electrical); Vipond Inc. (sprinklers/fire protection); Simplex Grinnell (fire alarm system); Cesaroni Carline (drywall); Antamex International Inc.(glass/glazing); Bothwell-Accurate Co. Ltd. (roofing); Flynn Canada (Toronto) (siding); and Kone Inc. (elevators).
