Work is ongoing at the Rowe condominiums in Whitby, Ontario.
Davies-Smith Development’s Rowe rises
Davies-Smith Development Partnership began the 12-storey, 131-unit project in July 2007; completion is scheduled for February 2009.
The work also includes two levels of underground parking, a grand lobby, rooftop amenities and a resistance pool.
The owner is Victoria Charles Inc. and the project was designed by Karp Namisniak Yamamoto Architects.
Consultants are Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (structural) and Able Engineering (mechanical/electrical).
Subtrades include Millenium Earthworks Inc. (sitework); Gilbert Steel Ltd. (rebar supply); Rockbase Forming (formwork); Global Precast; Model Railings & Ironworks (structural steel); Dufferin Concrete; and Medi Group (masonry).
Also on the list of subtrades are Select Drywall & Acoustic; D. Zentil Mechanical; Speedy Electric Contractors Ltd.; Primeline Windows; C & A Tedesco Waterproofing Inc. (roofing); LSC Railings; ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ltd.; and C & A Tedesco (asphalt/paving).
