Burka Varacalli Architects designed the Accolade Condominiums in Toronto.

The Accolade condominiums are currently under construction at the Don Valley Parkway and Eglinton Avenue in Toronto.

Pouring on the Accolade

General contractor Residences at The Accolade Inc. began the 34-storey, 327-unit project in August 2007. Completion has been scheduled for June 2009.

Designed by Burka Varacalli Architects, the building features a party room, fitness room, billiards lounge and four levels of underground parking.

Consultants are Sigmund Soudack & Associates (structural) and Stantec (mechanical/electrical).

Subcontractors include Magine Contractors (excavating); Anchor Shoring & Caissons Ltd.; Canada Wide Reinforcing Steel Co. Ltd.; Trio Forming; Teskey Concrete; Primo Mechanical; Nortown Electrical Contractors Associates; and ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ltd.
