Masonry work goes on at the Cassie Campbell Community Centre in Brampton, Ontario

Masonry work is under way at the Cassie Campbell Community Centre in Brampton, Ontario. Construction Manager PCL Constructors Canada Inc. began the project last September and completion has been scheduled for fall 2008. The work includes a twin pad arena, aquatic centre, gymnasium, running track, and fitness centre. The Cassie Campbell Community Centre was designed by Shore Tilbe Irwin & Partners. Consultants are: Halcrow Yolles (structural); Smith & Andersen Consulting Engineers (mechanical); and Mulvey & Banani International Inc. (electrical); and Marshall Macklin Monaghan Ltd. (civil). Subtrades include: American Water Services (site work); Structform International Ltd. (foundation/formwork/reinforcing steel); Benson Steel Ltd. (structural steel); G A Masonry; Urban Mechanical Contracting; OZZ Corporation (electrical/security systems); Bothwell-Accurate Co. Ltd. (roofing/waterproofing); Flynn Canada (Toronto) (siding); Schindler Elevator Corp.; and Aldershot Landscaping Contractors Ltd.
