DJ Campbell mixes it up at The Lotus Condo & Spa project

Workers pour concrete for The Lotus Condo & Spa at 8 Scollard St. in Toronto. Construction manager DJ Campbell Ltd. along with owner/developer Shiu Pong Developments Ltd. began the 16-storey, 161-unit project in winter 2005. The work also includes five levels of underground parking and retail on the ground floor. The Lotus project was designed by Northgrave Architect Inc. Consultants are: Kazmar Associates Ltd. (structural) and MV Shore Associates (1993) Ltd. (mechanical/electrical). Subtrades include: Costa Earthmoving Inc. (excavation); Deep Foundations Contractors Inc. (shoring/caissons); Delgant (Civil) Ltd. (concrete forming); Gilbert Steel Ltd. (rebar supply); Architectural Precast Systems Ltd.; Innocon Inc. (concrete supply); Hi Rise Mechanical; Nortown Electrical Contractors; Primeline Windows Inc.; Model Railings & Ironworks Inc. (misc. metals); and Otis Canada Inc. (elevators).
