Lewis Builds continues work on Wellesley Central Residence at Sherbourne

Work continues on the Wellesley Central Residence at 490 Sherbourne St. in Toronto, Ontario. General contractor Lewis Builds Corp. began the 12-storey, 112-unit project last September and completion is scheduled for March. The residence will also include retail on the ground floor. The Wellesley Central Residence was designed by architectsAlliance. Consultants are: Blackwell Bowick Partnership (structural); G & M Technical Services Ltd. (mechanical/electrical); and Quinn Design Associates (landscape). Subcontractors include: Millennium Earthworks (excavation); Drillco Foundation Co. Ltd. (shoring/caissons); Structform International Ltd. (formwork); C & T Reinforcing Steel Co. (1987) Ltd. (rebar supply); Canadian Precast; All Railings (structural steel); St. Marys CBM (concrete supply); Brownstone Masonry; Marin (2000) Inc. (drywall); Royal Custom Fixturing (millwork); EIF Flooring; Mega City Tiling; J & I Gaweda (rough/finish carpentry); Christal Mechanical (mechanical/fire protection); Jenner Electric; Primeline Windows Inc; Solarfective (window blinds); Bothwell-Accurate Co. Ltd. (roofing); Otis Canada Inc.(elevators); and Mazza (landscaping).
