AECOM’s UMA merges operations with KMK Consulting

BURNABY, B.C

UMA Engineering Ltd is merging operations with KMK Consulting Ltd (KMK) following the acquisition of KMK by UMA’s parent company, AECOM Technology Corporation. KMK is an Ontario-based engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and municipal engineering. AECOM is a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for government and commercial clients around the world. KMK and UMA will merge operations to provide a greater breadth of project management, technical expertise and service delivery for their clients.

Together they will have more than 1,300 employees in offices across Central and Western Canada. “KMK brings an excellent reputation and record of performance that we believe will help UMA grow in the areas of water and wastewater and strategic asset management.” UMA president and CEO Jim Stewart.
