A Tying Trio

Workers tie rebar for the Explorer at Waterview Phase 3 condominiums on Lake Shore Boulevard West in Toronto. Developer Monarch Construction Ltd. began the work in January 2005 and completion has been scheduled for fall. The project consists of two 14-storey towers with a total of 270 suites, ground floor retail and three levels of underground parking.

The Project Team

The Explorer At Waterview Phase 3 was designed by Graziani + Corazza Architects. Consultants are: Stephenson Engineering Ltd. (structural); A & G Engineering (mechanical/electrical); and MBTW Group (landscape). Subtrades include: Michael Bros. Excavating; Deep Foundations Contractors Inc. (shoring/caissons); Verdi Alliance (formwork); C & T Reinforcing Steel Co. (1987) Ltd.; Global Precast; Dufferin Concrete; Venice Masonry; Sanet Mechanical Ltd.; Jay Electric Ltd.; Tedesco Waterproofing Inc. (roofing); and ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ltd.
