Hilton Garden Inn

Work continues for the new Hilton Garden Inn in Vaughan, Ont. Construction manager Belrock Construction began the six-storey, 155-suite facility last May. The work includes a convention centre/pavilion, bar/kitchens, meeting room facilities and one level of underground parking. The Hilton Garden Inn was designed by Chamberlain Architect Services Ltd. Consultants are: Jablonsky, Ast & Partners (structural); MV Shore Associates (1993) Ltd. (mechanical/electrical); and Stephen Popovich Associates Inc. (landscape). Subtrades include: Torcon (excavating); Yukon Construction Inc. (formwork); Canada Wide Reinforcing Steel Co. Ltd.; Granolite Co. Ltd. (EIFS); Skyhawk Steel Construction Inc. (structural steel); Innocon Inc. (concrete supply); Michelin Group Inc. (masonry); Sanet Mechanical Ltd.; Ozz Corporation (electrical); Automated Fire (sprinklers/fire protection); Daco Aluminum (windows); Dufferin Roofing; Kone Inc. (elevators); and Lafarge (asphalt/paving).
