Supporting the Sisters

McKAY-COCKER CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Concrete pumping continues for the new residence of the Sisters of St. Joseph, Diocese of London in London, Ont. McKay-Cocker Construction Ltd. began the four-storey, 100-bed facility in July and completion has been scheduled for December. The project includes living space, administrative offices and underground parking. The Sisters of St. Joseph project was designed by Cornerstone Architecture Inc. Consultants are: Gray & Fick Ltd. (structural); Chorley & Bisset Ltd. (mechanical/electrical); and Ron Koudys Landscape Architect Inc. Subcontractors include: Total Demolition Inc.; Classic Excavating Inc.; The John Hayman & Sons Co. (formwork/rebar/concrete supply); Coreslab Structures (Ont.) Inc.; Lambton Metal Services (structural steel/deck); Kappeler Masonry; JMR Electric Ltd. (mechanical/electrical); Thames Glass Ltd. (windows); Nedlaw Roofing; ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ltd. (elevators); and Del-Ko Paving & Construction (asphalt/paving).
