Shoring for the Chateau

Shoring and caisson work is underway for the Chateau Royal condominium project at 650 Mt. Pleasant Road in Toronto. General contractor Toddglen Chateau Limited began the eight-storey, 97-unit project in January and completion is scheduled for November 2007. There will also be three levels of underground parking and retail on the ground floor. The Chateau Royal condominium project was designed by Page Steele Inc. Consultants are Jablonsky Ast & Partners (structural) and CBM Group (mechanical/electrical). Subcontractors include: Blu-Mar Excavating & Grading; Deep Foundations Contractors Inc. (shoring/caissons); and Salit Steel (rebar supply).
