WAREHOUSE WORK

Steel work continues for the Metal One Canada Corporation warehouse expansion and addition in Ingersoll, Ont. Design-build contractor McKay-Cocker Construction Ltd. began the single-storey addition and 18,600-square-foot expansion in November and completion is scheduled for May. The project was designed by McKay-Cocker Design-Build. Consultants are: Mardon Engineering Ltd. (structural); Barrett Mechanical (mechanical); and Johnson Electric Inc. (electrical). Subtrades include: J-AAR Excavating Ltd.; McKay-Cocker (formwork); Harris Rebar (rebar supply); Lambton Metal Service/Spencer Steel (structural steel); Lafarge Construction Materials (concrete supply); Forest City Fire Protection (sprinklers); Kappeler Masonry Corp.; Rosmar Drywall & Acoustics (drywall); Thames Glass (windows); Smith Peat Roofing & Sheet Metal (roofing); and Del-Ko Paving & Construction.
