TWO TOWERS

Work progresses on the Port Royal Place Phase II condominiums in Etobicoke, Ont. Project manager Saddlebrook Management Consultants Inc. began the two towers late last year and completion is scheduled for spring 2006. One tower will be 16-storeys with 140 units and the other 12-storeys with 149 units. There will also be three levels of underground parking that will join the two towers. Owner and developer is Port Royal Place (Phase V Developments Inc.). The project was designed by Burka Varacalli Architects. Consultants are: Adjeleian Allen Rubeli Ltd. (structural); TeGi Engineering Inc. (mechanical/electrical); and NAK Design (landscape). Subtrades include: Michael Bros. Excavating; Deep Foundations Contractors Inc. (shoring/caissons); Forma-con (formwork); Harris Rebar (rebar supply); Dufferin Concrete (concrete supply); Primo Mechanical Inc. (mechanical); Cooltech Services Ltd. (HVAC); Ozz Corporation (electrical); and ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ltd.
