OFFICE EXPANSION

Concrete work progresses for the Four Seasons Hotel & Resorts Home Office expansion at 1165 Leslie St. in North York, Ont. Construction manager Vanbots Construction Corp. began the $30-million, six-storey project last June and completion is scheduled for July 2006. It will also include one level of underground parking. The architect for the project is Page & Steele Inc. Consultants are: Yolles Partnership (structural); Rybka Smith and Ginsler Ltd. (mechanical/electrical); and Quinn Design Associates (landscape). Subtrades include: Blu-Mar Excavating & Grading; Deep Foundations Contractors Inc. (shoring/caissons); Alliance Forming Ltd. (formwork); Harris Rebar (rebar supply); Architectural Metal (structural steel); St. Mary’s CBM (concrete supply); Novel Mechanical; Ozz Corporation (electrical); Can-Am Glass & Mirror Ltd. (windows); Bothwell-Accurate Co. Ltd. (roofing); and Kone Inc. (elevators).
