Construction progresses on the Waterparkcity Atlantis condominiums on Fort York Boulevard in Toronto. Developer 650 Fleet Street Developments Ltd. began the 28-storey, 456-unit project with a seven-storey podium in February 2004 and occupancy is scheduled for January next year. Architect for the project is Page + Steele Inc. Consultants are: Jablonsky Ast & Partners (structural); Hidi Rae Consulting Engineers Inc. (mechanical/electrical) and Ferris & Associates Inc. (landscape). Subtrades include: Michael Bros. Excavating; Anchor Shoring & Caissons Ltd.; Delgant (Civil) Ltd. (formwork); Harris Rebar (rebar supply); Innocon Inc. (concrete supply); Denham Masonry; University Plumbing & Heating Ltd. (mechanical); Nortown Electrical Contractors Associates (electrical); Allan Window Systems Inc. (windows); and Fujitec Canada Inc. (elevators).
