PARTS CANADA PROGRESS

Work continues for the new 17,000-square-foot plant and offices for Parts Canada Limited in London, Ont. McKay-Cocker Construction Ltd. began the two-storey, design-build facility last September and completion is scheduled for August. The owner is Parts Canada Development Company and the architect for the project is McKay-Cocker Design-Build. Consultants are: Mardon Engineering Ltd. (structural); Barrett Mechanical/Technicair Ltd. (mechanical); Johnson Electric Inc. (electrical); Forest City Fire Protection (sprinklers); and Parterre Landscape Design Association. Subtrades include: J-AAR Excavating; Drillco Foundation Co. Ltd. (shoring/caissons); Dietrich Steel (rebar supply); Lambton Metal Service (structural steel); Lafarge Construction Materials (concrete supply); Smith-Peat Roofing & Sheet Metal (windows); and Aveiro Contractors (metal roof/siding).
