Construction continues for Michael Angelo’s Market Place grocery store and retail outlet at Highway 7 and Woodbine Avenue in Richmond Hill, Ont. General contractor Bird Construction Co. began the work last July and completion is scheduled for April. The project was designed by Paul Didur Architect Inc. Consultants are: Y & V Engineering (structural); Leipciger Kaminker Mitelman & Partners (mechanical); and Hammerschlag & Joffe Inc. (electrical). Subcontractors include: Oak Site Preparation Inc. (excavation); High-View Forming Inc. (formwork); Gilbert Steel (rebar supply); ACL Steel Ltd. (structural steel); Dufferin Concrete (concrete supply); Mapleridge Mechanical Contracting Ltd. (mechanical); Bramwood Electric Ltd. (electrical); Westmount Storefront Systems (windows); and Nortex Roofing Ltd. (roofing).
